Atlanta Driveway Gates Designed & Built by JDR Metal Art in 2024

It’s been another busy spring season with many Atlanta custom driveway gate customers.

We just designed & built this set of gates for a client of SIA Ornamental Iron in Alpharetta, Georgia.

This set of dual swing gates was installed south of Atlanta. It is 17′ wide, 78″ tall at center, built from steel tubing and sheet, and weighs approximately 250lbs per leaf.

The design features magnolia trees, deer, turkeys and pheasants all plasma cut from 1/8″ thick steel sheet. The sheet is welded onto a 2×2″ square tubing frame.

We installed a third set of hinges per the customer’s request. We build our own hinges with sealed bearings for a maintenance-free, smoothly gliding swing gate.

Everything is powder coated black for a durable, beautiful finish.

The installation (setting posts, hanging gates & gate automation) was performed to perfection by our friends at SIA Ornamental Iron of Alpharetta.

We really enjoyed working with them on helping their client get exactly the gate they wanted.
